WHX?? 50,013 #2 Posted February 16 (edited) Any cigar lighter will work. Trick is to get the orginal style knob, Hen's teeth sometimes and can command a hefty price if you do get lucky. If A-Z has an original for that coin order it NOW!! Edited February 16 by WHX??

Make sure the socket is grounded to the dash and so forth. 53 minutes ago, 1968Commando said: restoring a commando 8 and from the factory And we know you are doing this because the are where??? There is an outer shell that threads onto the large threads at the base to hold it in the dash. There were only two major lighter suppliers back in the day. Rochester and this one I believe is Casio - totally different.

WHX?? 50,013 #17 Posted February 16 (edited) Awesome dude keep the pics coming. I noticed you said you have a starter gen. My fav motor. '68 ish was the last year for them. Some Raiders had them some didn't in 68. If you do have a S/G the lighter should be wired off the "L" terminal on the regulator. Along with any lighting or other accessories you may run. Ok soooo now I’m confused, do I have the right pieces or not, I want to make sure I have all the pieces for the cigarette lighter I need because currently I have a dc switch in the cigarette hole.
