Very interesting indeed, we have a company over here called JCB that make back hoe loaders which lead the market. Good to see where the concept came from.

I was born and raised in Athol and the North Quabbin region. The local history has always fascinated me.

I see JCBs on our side too but they aren't anymore as common as Cat, Case or John Deere. Maybe even less so, but not to say they aren't good machines, I personally have never ran one but in my occupation its not often I do. Larger mini excavators with runner tracks are becoming more common vs a rubber tired hoe.

Not to mention a skid steer usually does the loader part of the work anymore.
