Picked up my 1977 b80 a few weeks ago.  It was smoking pretty bad.  Sprayed some kroil everyday for a week. Turning it over daily.  Changed the oil and the smoke is gone.  Every time I start it the last week no issue.  I haven’t put it to work yet but it’s a good sign.  Thought I would share.

What do you think it was,        :scratchead:           stuck rings?

We had a barn find 8 horse that smoked like Uncle Jim for quite a while.  The more we ran it, the better it got.

Well I was hoping it was stuck rings.  I guess we will find out the more I use it but it seems to have stopped.

@stvski80085  agree with the kroil , magical , varnish cleaning / penetrating  action . been using , adding , RISLONE  ZINC  to my oils now for years , has a very similar cleaning effect  on engines , add 4 oz  to the 2 qts  of 30 wt  rotella  oil , no smoke at all , and very quiet running .  pete

Wait... Wasn't that the motto on Pullstart's plow day: :eusa-think:

@WHX?? Uncle Jim: The more we run him, the better he gets..."?
