Diesel Actual 4 #1 Posted January 13 I have an 856. I would like to put a snowblower on it.ST-326 which was later replaced by model number 6-2211 is what is supposed to be on it. I have someone selling a two stage snowblower my question is: will it fit ? How different are the snowblowers from unit to unit? peter lena 8,933 #4 Posted January 13 @Diesel Actual single stage for you would be good , when those are set up , and also related mule drive , with good bearings , detailing , they can really get the snow moving , like any blower , the type of snow you regularly get effects output. dry / fluffy is perfect , while wet usually has a very difficult time , clearing chute . ran a single stage for years , detailing movement function , is key to operation , pete 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ri702bill 8,616 #6 Posted January 14 I scored a NOS, never mounted ST-323 a few years back for my 854. It immediately needed a couple of updated before use that are implemented on the ST-326. Had to add an upper chain idler sprocket and new longer chain to provide more "wrap" on the auger. Ther 323 was prone to stripping teeth off the welded on sprocket as only three teeth provided the drive force. The cross shaft ball bearings, though "new" did not have the later floating shells - required as the tub flexes in use. peter lena 8,933 #7 Posted January 14 @Diesel Actual just a plow with some functional details , enhancements , maks a world of difference , typically a plow blade is like a rough , rusty slab , personal preference ls a scotch pad rub down with penetrating oil as the lube cutter , smoothing out the base , lets you spray on graphite , deck sealer or mineral oil , to have a smooth slide point , my plows shed snow like the plague , those plows are a gold mine for improvement , virtually eliminated , any movement related drag , detailed / verified change . improvement . that plow steering quadrant , can swing with total ease . pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
