After the bustle and excitement of the Christmas season, National Take Down the Christmas Tree Day on January 6 provides the perfect end to the season. It’s the last of the 12 days of Christmas and encourages us to finally let go of the holidays, take down our trees, and usher in Epiphany for all Christians.

Pine Christmas trees are a nutritious snack for goats, they are packed with vitamins A and C, and it helps their digestive tract.

There is a small animal farm down the street from me (Fuster Cluck Acres) that collects trees for the goats.

Kennell take down the tree day was Jan.01,2025.

When I still lived in Western Pa high atop the Appalachian Mts.,  we left the Christmas decorations up year round.

None of those are pine.  Many survivor books I have read state that people can eat all parts of a pine tree.  Im out.  I ingest enough of the darn pollen every spring :D

They say you can eat worms and bugs too.     I think I will leave that to the goats and skunks.
