953 nut 57,834 #1 Posted December 28, 2024 Today is National Chocolate Candy Day! I have been working hard in preparation for this national celebration. Since Christmas morning I have eaten nearly a full pound of wonderful chocolate candy, the wife got a few but not too many. Join in the celebration and gorge yourself on these delectable delights, it is your patriotic duty to do so on this National Chocolate Candy Day. 1 7

Skwerl58 744 #4 Posted December 28, 2024 That stuff can be dangerous! I eat more of this type of goodness between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day than the rest of the year. Enjoy it while we can!
elcamino/wheelhorse 9,360 #5 Posted December 28, 2024 I must be the unluckiest person on the planet , chocolate in any form gives me migraines. Send my share to @squonk , him like BBQ covered in chocolate. 1 2

Diabetic members of the forum are assumed exempted from this particular display of patriotic fervor. They’d be of little service to the chocolate gorging republic in a coma! No joke!

I greatly appreciate this information. I have an endocrinologist appointment in early January, and this will serve me well when he begins to tell me how my sugar is too high! It's just wrong to have such an appointment behind Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! Of course I'm gonna eat too much sugar during this part of the year! 1
