953 nut 56,055 #1 Posted December 26, 2024 Today would have been @JimD,s 75th birthday, he was taken from us much too soon. Jim served as a moderator on Red Square and always shared his sense of humor. for several years Jim would find unusual photos and post them with the title "Caption this" to bring out the humorous side of others. You are missed Jim. 4
stevasaurus 22,902 #2 Posted December 26, 2024 Thanks Richard !! JimD was one of my best friends, I miss him dearly. Here we are at the 2009 Big Show giving Horsefixer's horse a pull. Duke was not happy that we did that. Remembered on your 75th birthday and always Mate.

Jim called me one day after my Heart attack and we talked for almost an hour. Seemed like every time he went to the doc he called me for advice on hospital stays, nurses, docs ect. Once for his birthday I found this plaque in the pharmacy. Something about stuff running down his leg when he laughed or whatever. I had to buy it for him but I needed a box so I could ship it. Needed a shipping tube so I went to the materials management room at the hospital and found a long thin box for catheter's. Perfect! . I wrapped it up and sent it with instructions not to open it until we were on Skype as I wanted to see his face when he saw the box! But the best was me, Duke, Jim, Koen ( @C-101plowerpower ) and the Dino were on skype one night talking college football. Jim sat at his desk in one of those old metal swivel desk chairs with the big honking spring so the seat would recline back. He had headphones on. Koen blurts out "Michigan Sucks!" and Duke went ballistic. Jim laughed so hard he leaned back and the chair tipped over and the headphones went flying. He completely disappeared from the screen! 953 nut 56,055 #7 Posted December 28, 2024 (edited) Jim's tag lines on every post were "always leave em laughin" and "Every day is a gift" Even after his liver surgery he was making us laugh with more "Caption This" offerings. He made every day a gift for us. Edited December 28, 2024 by 953 nut fat finger
