Retired Wrencher 5,630 #1 Posted December 25, 2024 (edited) Hi I am looking for a column for a 1056 as you can see this was broken by the P/O. Is there info on length of these steering shafts. I have some extra parts form a 856 that does not work to short. any info would be great full. Edited December 25, 2024 by Retired Wrencher
ebinmaine 70,533 #2 Posted December 25, 2024 Which piece do you need? The 3/4" round shaft that the steering wheel is on?
JimSraj 479 #3 Posted December 25, 2024 I have this, as well as other parts, from a 1267 (I think) that I’m going to be parting out after the holidays.

Jim if that PTO handle hoop and battery box is solid - I'd be interested...
JimSraj 479 #5 Posted December 25, 2024 Eric, The battery box is solid. It was bent a little but I was able to bend it back pretty well with an adjustable wrench. The PTO shaft hoop is in good shape. I also have the handle as well as the clutch. I’ll have a look around to see if there is anything else PTO related if you are interested. I get some close up pictures for you later.
Blasterdad 3,025 #6 Posted December 25, 2024 Why can't you just put a new steering wheel on the shaft that's on it?

Jim I would be interested in the hole console or just the shaft and steering wheel. Edited December 25, 2024 by Retired Wrencher
