Gravely Horse 19 #1 Posted December 21, 2024 Saw this wagon at the dump ( recycling center) in Rome NY today. Sorta looks like something WH would have made but it could be a one off. Kinda cool though. I didn’t take it but they did have it set aside. Anyone recognize this?
Wayne0 901 #2 Posted December 22, 2024 If it was solid, I'd grab that in a heartbeat!
953 nut 57,759 #4 Posted December 22, 2024 Could be a LT-24 with the swivel cut off.

There were a couple flat tires on rims under it I assume belonged to it. They won’t let anyone take anything, probably liability reasons, but I’m sure one of the guys working there was taking it home with them.

It didn’t have a solid axle across, it had stub shafts welded to brackets bolted to each side, but that could have been a different iteration of this model or someone modified it later. The tub looks the same though. Hopefully it lives on with whoever is taking it home.
JimSraj 479 #7 Posted December 22, 2024 Dog gone shame that most recycling and/or scrap yards won’t let anyone in anymore. I can remember going ‘shopping ‘ in the yards for whatever metal was needed before thinking of buying new. Only one small yard left around here now where they still let you in and will sell whatever you want for a little over scrap price.
