Alrashid2 382 #1 Posted December 20, 2024 (edited) Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place but just wanted to make a post to thank you all for helping me out with my literal hundreds of questions I've asked here! Buying this old horse, I was really nervous as I couldn't find any manuals or information online. Well, you all are such a wealth of knowledge, and have answered my questions and given me advice so quickly. Good, fast and cheap - they say you can only have two. Well, you guys have helped me free of charge so I know which two you all are! I will be searching on here how to support the site and would like to join the club too. The money is nothing compared to how much help you all have been and what a source of information this forum is. Thank you again!! Really appreciate it! peter lena 9,075 #8 Posted December 21, 2024 @Alrashid2 noticing your oiled patina plow blade front , that finish is like adding HP when plowing , with snow release , been doing that for years , also noting the plow blade wear edge , yours appears to be right in the middle , rotate that regularly , for wear , pavement plowing really takes a toll on that , so adjust to it , get some cross link rear chains , like an extension spring on mine , to follow chain tension , give it room to move , and it will always draw against any looseness . also get after that plow quadrant swing movement set up , its simple , but imperative for functional ease , made a point of correcting / eliminating any repetitive problem spot . track it down for function , and correct , like wire cable wrap , and repositioning original wiring / chafing set up , stick on cable wrap mounts , tie wraps , gat a added fuel filter , close to carb bowl , stay at it , pete 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
