Heater motor

Recommended Posts

bc_gold

Other day the heater motor quit, no problem $90.00 plus two tax's an hours trip to Brandon freezing my butt off gets me a new motor.

Instead I flushed the excess carbon out, four rinses later. Motor back in truck and I have heat.

I suspect the carbon was shorting out the segments on the commutator or hanging up the brushes from moving freely.
