Mark siebenaler 107 #1 Posted December 15, 2024 I've been looking high and low for brass bushing .. size is about. .406 or 13/32 outside diameter and .216 or 1/5 inside diameter. Not the same as the bigger kohler carburetors. Anyone with a source or will they need to be machined?
ebinmaine 68,742 #2 Posted December 15, 2024 Check McMaster Carr. If not there you can use a bolt to hold the oversized bushings in a drill to sand the outsides down some.

Looked could not find anything there Should have a bunch made up and Give them to others looking i have Carter carberaters both have bad play . Thinking if you have to make one might as well make 30 or so not any more work really.

ri702bill 8,550 #5 Posted December 15, 2024 Mark - do check the throttle shaft itself for wear. Minor wear with new bushings makes it better - a solid unworn shaft makes it right...

Some don't have the recess to accept the bushings which moves the wear point on the shaft.

Yes I do have micrometer.
