Sparky-(Admin) 21,863 #12 Posted December 14, 2024 I don’t like the “pick only one rule” This is my son and I on nearly matching Blackhoods I put together so we could get out and plow snow as a team. He’s only a few months from turning 30 now….I would guess he’s around 10-12 years old in this pic (he was always a BIG kid) 6 7 1

JCM 9,991 #22 Posted December 14, 2024 @ri702bill Black bucket seat with console interior. Bought it in 1977 with 17,000 miles on it. The prior owner broke it in real good in that it needed a short block etc. It came with a 402 / 396 4 speed 3.31 posi, Added crane cam, hooker headers, holley carb, ladder bars, cragar mags, hayes street strip clutch, lakewood scatter shield, russell pro flex hoses , B.F.Goodrich radial TA's etc. All that on Plumbers apprentice pay. My brother in law bought in from me in 1999 and just recently installed a 600 HP engine. It's still in the family. 3
ri702bill 8,903 #23 Posted December 14, 2024 All too many Chevy owners were used to high revving small blocks, shifting at 6500 RPM. Most factory big blocks redline by 5500 RPM. Most develope all their power & torque by 4200-4500. Abusing the rules spanks you in the wallet. Growing up I had a friend with the same basic car, blue with white interior & stripes. A Torque Monster of a car....
