Them're neat. I gotta get mine set up on a tractor.

Wished I could get mine to work better. I think it needs a special muffler so the tank doesn't get pressurized by the back pressure.

See the two 1/4-20 bolts in the hood? Guess what I had mounted there. It was only 1 or 2 years old at the time. :)

I'd be interested to know the correct connection pieces too.

The way I understand it, the Blitz feed holes would allow a drip which was then vaporized by the exhaust exiting the system.

@squonk or @Racinbob maybe any thoughts?

I think it worked similar to a carb. The exhaust passing thru the pipe would leave a vacuum pulse behind it.  (Venturi effect) Drawing the skeeter juice out of the can along with a little help from gravity.

The Venturi effect is a phenomenon where a fluid's pressure decreases when it flows through a constricted area, causing its velocity to increase; essentially, as a fluid speeds up in a narrower space, its pressure drops, based on the principle of conservation of energy and is directly related to Bernoulli's principle

That's the impression I was under.

The "bung" fitting going into the exhaust pipe must have been a pretty small opening.

Amazing really to think of using one of those with pesticides or herbicides... :scared-eek:

Makes me think:

NOS Blitz Fogger attire available. Found in closets of long-dead WH Blitz Fogger owners everywhere who didn't use them...

@SylvanLakeWH

I like that it's red.  Proves it's actually Wheelhorse NOS product.

Fogger Shmogger, who needs a fogger!

During World War Two the barrier islands off of Fort Pierce FL were training bases for the US Navy Under Water Demolition Teams (now SEALs) and the US Army Rangers. The mosquitos were everywhere and each tent had a vat of DDT right outsider. The men would slather DDT over every inch of exposed skin. Many of these men made Fort Pierce their home after the war and loved telling about all of their exploits during training.

You sir have never been to the Portage Show. Skeeters thicker than the :ph34r: here.

The fogger drips into the muffler with the drip rate controlled by a needle valve. Thinkin there needs to be a elbow or device inside the muff that creates a slight vacuum.

Anybody have a copy of the OM sure would like to see it. Wonder what was provided with one to make it work.
