It just occurred to me that when I replaced my fuel line, it ran down from the tank to a petcock & filter, then directly to the carb. Hmmm. My own favorite small engine repair guy mentioned juts the other day that he's "only" got 35+ years experience and STILL occasionally forgets to do something mundane like replace the spark plug.
