That link you sent for the kit i need said most hydro ones did not have the tube and most manual ones did. I'm having trouble even seeing how that tube works on yours. It looks like it goes straight through the transmission housing. Does it ho up and over or down and under? Thanks Correct, no tube (conduit) ☹️ As @WHX?? notes, the hydro version of the tube tucks under the the pump/motor and nestles snugly into a round recess in the transaxle casting. Aligned with the recess, there is also a hole in the frame plate where the transaxle bolts on--this lets the cable can pass through both and into the tube. @WHX?? did show a link to the correct tube, but that tube also comes in a complete kit with the rock shaft. A-to-Z may also have these parts taken from a used tractor. Getting the tube into place is a bit finicky, and installing the rock shaft has a number of steps, but no fabrication or metal cutting are required. @Brockport Bill's shots of the manual pages are good. If you have the model of the tiller, you can get help looking in the site’s files for the complete manual. You already have the axle-mounted bracket that the tiller needs. I see, though, that you don’t have pins or clips holding the levers in the locked position--be sure to do that before running the tiller! In other posts you mention that you’ll be getting the mid-mount idler. So that’s good!
