wh500special 2,240 #1 Posted December 9, 2024 Headed into STL today and passed two Model A Fords on the bridge. They were rolling right along at around 50 mph. Older guy driving the lead car, maybe in his 70’s. Younger kid driving the chase car, probably in his 20’s. Not the best pictures, but tried to get them with the Arch in the background. Amazing to think those cars are approaching 100 years old. I love the look of cars from that era with the running boards, big headlamps, and spoke wheels. Even the smallest modem cars dwarf them. Hopefully you enjoy the pictures. Steve btw - I wasn’t driving. 4 8 3

The A was available in a number of earthy tones, usually two-tone schemes. Edited December 9, 2024 by adsm08 1

Had loads of choices, from what I have been told the 1928 color pallet consisted of a half dozen colors and more were added each successive year. 3 1

I was thinking about buying a coupe that was for sale from the dealer I was working for last year. I could have stomached the price, but I have nowhere to put it right now.
