Wheelhorse Electric lift clicking???

Recommended Posts

Rucan

My wheelhorse 441-8 has the electric lift.  It often stops working with the snow plow stuck either in the up or down position.  When I bring it in the garage and go back to it later then it will start working again.  Never does it with the mower deck on in the summer.

Electric actuators have stop switches to prevent damage at the top and bottom of its travel. Sounds like yours isn’t completing the circuit.

Likely the gear jumping past the threads on the worm drive. You probably should avoid that as much as you can.

:confusion-confused:      Take a close look at the housing, could be a crack that allowed some moisture to get in there and freeze up while out in the cold.

Thank you.  I have thought it may be weather related because it does not happen in the summer when it's warm
