Pete, far be it from me, but do you read every thing you type before you post it ??   That is more then one sentence and a few breaths of air if you had to read that out loud.  I doubt you really talk like that, but it really is hard to read and I do like what you have to say.  It's just hard to get through sometimes...just sayin'.  It does sound like you are OK.  :occasion-xmas:

I'm not picking on you, but sometimes I give up trying to read one of your posts.  :eusa-think:

Pain medications help you make it through PT but aren't intended to improve your prose.        Hope for a speedy and complete recovery Pete

That's good news.  Keep after that therapy - it really helps the recovery.

My wife has had a knee replacement and some back surgery.  The physical therapy was key to her recovery.

@stevasaurus  will make a point of , stoping , every separate  , issue, usually as any related , thought comes up, had a stroke in my left eye , that effected , detailing , had to go to a RETINA   SPECIALIST , for that , included , getting injections into the eye ball. as some of us get  older , we change , regularly adapt to what used to be.  function . will make apoint of stopping , every detail for you . used to work with a bunch of guys . that never did anything , or went anywhere , kind of like living in a closet . when ever I came back from a trip . it was always the same ,  well where in the hell did you go this time ? none of them could relate to anything , that  my wife and I , had seen , by the way , have you ever , been to the CN TOWER IN CHACAGO ?  PROBABLY NOT ,  go at night , so you can see  the aircraft , lighting , hanging in the sky , against a very well  lit city . the room you are in is all clear safety glass , top to bottom , you get there in the freight elevator , when the door opens , its a light show  , thats hard to beat , hope the periods helped , pete

@stevasaurus   gaining on my movement , had a heck of a day yesterday , after the therapist left , he woke up areas that were , still in defence mode , slept 10 hours ! out cold . regularly using walker . also supportive  shoes , for solid walking . also noted my right foot , is now straight ahead , instead of a  30 degree angle to the right . today started doing , everything I was told to do , exercise, do every one of the mandatory kitchen counter , supported  standing movement stretch areas ,  also noting  meds reaction , and  keeping  records of what works , and  confusion .  righting down everything ,most important is reaction to supported  stretches , have the before / after . effect . my wife has been right there , helping out , her past nursing home involvement , has an insight that few people have , office manager , she can decipher , medical / insurance forms  , for every detail . have ice on my leg now  , and will be walking around soon , therapist  coming over monday , related help is awesome ,  their  pre operation class , was very informative . pete

@Ed Kennell   THANKS ED!  just cruising around the house with the walker , just have to go by what they say , for gains / corrections . joint work today  , is totally different from the past , every step , is laser  guided  , usually glued right on you , suchering , dissolves  in place , and there is minimal scaring , also its straight lined , not like the old style , free hand  surgery . in a mater of weeks it all fades away . glad to be on the other side , pete

Pete...I was never attacking you.  You have a lot to ad to this site, I was just saying your posts are hard to read and full sentences would be easier to understand.  I'm wondering...if you can type all what you type, why can't you make full sentences??

Just so you know, I am not going to make a contest out of this, but...if you want to show me your scars, I am full of arthritus, I have had a mini-stroke, a detached retina, high blood presure, fractured hip..arm and riped tendons in shoulder (with operation), knee surgery, cateracks, 3 hernias, but I still have my hair !   I know and have used crutches and walkers.  At the moment, I can still make full sentences that the members on this site can read.

I love you man...my prayers are with you...you have a lot to say...but I wish you could say it so it was easy to read and understand.  :occasion-xmas:
