OKC123 0 #1 Posted November 23 We've pulled this stator out of a K301 engine. I'm unsure of the proper description as all my search results come back with a different 15amp stator that doesn't fit behind the flywheel. It has the attached magneto starter coil. Any help in identifying the proper part number or replacement part would be appreciated. The existing one is not charging the battery. Photos of the stator and engine info attached. pfrederi 17,742 #2 Posted November 23 Based on your spec number (assuming some PO didn't swap shrouds) you should have a breakerless ignition system triangular shaped coil on front of the shroud. The sator inyou r poic is not for the spec number you show so something has been changed. Spec 47147 is variation 509 for ignition and uses this coil. Be interesting to try to figure out what spec# engine you really have What tractor is this on.
