Red-Bovine 309 #1 Posted 15 hours ago I have a 1995 vintage 44" two stage snow blower on a 520H. I was doing some minor inspection and lubricating today and wondered how to check the oil level in the right angle engine driven gear case. I was able to check the auger gear case and it was fine. The manual says both were filled with 90 weight oil and recommends a change interval for the auger gear box but none for the engine driven one. I don't see any fill plugs or drain plugs on it and it does not appear to be leaking.
JCM 9,130 #2 Posted 12 hours ago You can use corn head grease for the engine driven one. There is a plate you can remove to get the grease in there.
