Luckily those are fairly simple. What have you done so far? Any testing? Any component checking? Removed and repaired any grounds?

Thanks for responding. I have 2 questions  1 The wires coming from the stator are about 16 inches long and the regulator/rectifier is under the steering wheel, So would I have to build a jumper wire from the stator wires to the regulator/rectifier ?

2 The yellow wire coming out the back of the connector( the one that has been cut)  does it go to the starter R terminal ? it looks like the yellow wire also plugs into the regulator/rectifier.

Thanks for all your help!!

Yes I am from the tar heel state. I inherited this 1974 tractor from my father, I am rebuilding it to give to my son someday as he is also a 1974 model

Matthews is about 40 miles from me. There are a couple fellas close by if you need something. Glad to hear your son is interested in these old tractors. Always a good thing!

It would be a good idea to solder the splices if you can.

2 The yellow wire coming out the back of the connector( the one that has been cut)  does it go to the starter R terminal ? it looks like the yellow wire also plugs into the regulator/rectifier. The wire from the B+ terminal of the rectifier/regulator goes to the ignition switch R terminal.
