ebinmaine 70,666 #2 Posted November 15, 2024 Luckily those are fairly simple. What have you done so far? Any testing? Any component checking? Removed and repaired any grounds?

CNC 10 #9 Posted November 17, 2024 Thanks for responding. I have 2 questions 1 The wires coming from the stator are about 16 inches long and the regulator/rectifier is under the steering wheel, So would I have to build a jumper wire from the stator wires to the regulator/rectifier ? 2 The yellow wire coming out the back of the connector( the one that has been cut) does it go to the starter R terminal ? it looks like the yellow wire also plugs into the regulator/rectifier. Thanks for all your help!!

Glad to hear your son is interested in these old tractors. Always a good thing!

If it isn't long enough you should be able to splice a sufficient amount of 16 gage wire to make the connection. It would be a good idea to solder the splices if you can. 2 The yellow wire coming out the back of the connector( the one that has been cut) does it go to the starter R terminal ? it looks like the yellow wire also plugs into the regulator/rectifier. The wire from the B+ terminal of the rectifier/regulator goes to the ignition switch R terminal.
