Eriks Red horse herd 107 #1 Posted November 12 So what year would this first year front mule drive been introduced ? I'm not up on to much of the new years. I kind of like the early years and into the 60s stuff.
Ed Kennell 38,330 #2 Posted November 13 After the swing arm side drive and before the front attach-o-matic mule drive. I'm guessing 1969-70. @gwest_ca Garry probably has the file.
WHX?? 48,853 #3 Posted November 13 (edited) Same as the one that was on a '74 A-90 I have so I wanna say 73?? I worked on a 72 Bronco & pretty sure it had the side arm one. Will be putting it back on for a place to keep it if nothing else. Edited November 13 by WHX??

WHX?? 48,853 #6 Posted November 14 So what I am reading is this style and the mid - later '60s side style were being made at the same time and this was the front runner to the later style that @Ed Kennell has buckets full of? 22 hours ago, WHX?? said: I worked on a 72 Bronco The Bronco 14 @Achto and I restoed was a '71

It has part of a front attach-a-matic , no mid mount, and a mule drive that isn't using the front attach-a-matic.

Funny I never noticed that but you are right the mule drive was bolted to the frame ... not clipped into the mule drive bracket. Mid mount disappearance is anyone's guess. Wasn't a deal breaker when I got it ... it was free So what year did the clip on style mules come into play? Had to be early 70's?? Like Erik I favor the pre 70's horses.
