Electric PTO

Recommended Posts

Bronco Jody 115

I have a 72 Bronco 14 auto. I have been looking for info on how to get my Elec PTO apart.  Found service documents but I need to take mine apart (I think) it is locked up with no power going to it while tractor is running and is gritty when turned by hand. It’s on a Bronco that was saved from a scrap yard.

I’m new here so maybe I just don’t know how to search and find info yet?

WHX??

:WRS: & thank you for saving one from scrap.

There is a manual that tells how to get it off the motor and take it apart. I do not have access to my files at the moment but others will be along to welcome and help you out.

@pfrederi might know a thing or two about them.

The way to remove the pto is to thread a large bolt into the center - it will contact the end of the crankshaft and push it out of the pto.

Some service bulletins

Thank you, that might be what I need. I’ll try that in the morning.

@Maz91 is about to "inherit" a Bronco 14 Automatic.

This thread would be useful to him as well.
