When I turn the key off and press the start button the starters turns, is that right? 2. My drive belt seems very loose is there a way to adjust that some or do I just need a new one? Cleaning you ignition points and adding some Seafoam fuel treatment to the tank should help. Couple of questions though 1. My drive belt seems very loose is there a way to adjust that some or do I just need a new one? Take a look at the pictures below, also I an attaching a copy of the owner manual. I think he said that dingus ... Yes we like the blue ones from TSC. My idler runs high too with a new belt but 82 is the correct belt. peter lena 8,654 #9 Posted October 31 @Cjwv1975 noticing the overall look of your set up , is showing need of a FUNCTIONAL DETAILING , that original idler pulley type with riveting is known for bearing issues , easy to change that out to a same size / type better bearing , have also found the COLLECTIVE ROTATIONAL DRAG , on belt driven set ups , is what just destroys itself , every related movement point , is usually rusted and in need of some penetrating lube , make the rust run out . BTW BELTS OFTEN SHOW YOU THE WAY , incremental saposed to move areas , are typically rough or dry . often refer to this issue , but its actually an easy fix , since doing my stuff over , the belt set up is very smooth / quiet / solid in use . pete 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
