wheel horse

I have a 1971 wheel horse raider 12 is there a bracket that go's under the seat on this or dose it just sit flat on the fender pan? Iv  look high and low for photos and info

Seat bolts directly to the pan but you can jack it up a bit if you are long legged.

@mike avad  was just snoopin around , for your seat info , found this  picture fest , gives a lot of insight , those seats /  base mount are  can easily be tweaked to fit your situation , unless you have to have exact pristine  factory fit , done a lot of seat refitting ,not difficult , pete

I added them to mine as well. Depending on the terrain you use your tractor on, as well as the amount of seat time you will have, a set of springs most definitely reduce what pop called “planter fatassyitis”, which I acquired from using no springs… :rolleyes:

My ‘71 raider 12 had no springs. (Just for the record)

I'm a blind welder is the reason I didn't add this picture to the build. Got old and can't see.  I add the 1/8" x 2" flat to the front and a 2"x2" x 1/8" angle to the rear.

Also added some 1" square tube on top of the fender with a few washers to raise the front of the seat.

The fender also hinges off a 3/4" rod welded in the seat frame. where is also a fender latch at the front .
