ricksrj58 273 #1 Posted October 5 some of you may of seen it posted on marketplace in butler pa for $350, i am the one that bought it. i need some good pics of a D series subframe since it looks like it will fit my d200 and i will have to make one. if anyone has some pics of the sub frame not mounted on a tractor that would be great. 953 nut 55,191 #2 Posted October 5 Subframes are not all that complicated. Most subframes are a two part system to move the weight and forces of the loader to the axles reducing the strain on the tractor frame. My subframe is on the tractor but I do have a few shots of it that may be helpful. If your "D" has a three point hitch the rear weight box can be fitted to it, if not, the subframe will need to extend a couple of feet beyond the tractor for that. The rear portion is attached to the frame just behind the front axle and is clamped to the rear axle. The front half of the subframe is bolted to the front of the frame above the front axle. The uprights that the loader arms pivot on need to be firmly attached to the front section of the subframe to support them. We’ve done than on our 500 “Clyde” where I added a front hydraulic lift. it works, but I’m still tempted to cut the hood so it’d lift like a GT-14 (or a number of those green things). 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

953 nut 55,191 #8 Posted October 9 I have seen the subframes that attach to the Atach-A-Matic in the front but would not recommend going this rout. I don't believe it's a problem using the tach a matics and never had an issue with mine when I had it. That one connected into the mid one, not the front. The important thing is to make sure it cannot slide sideways or move up and down and it's basically the same as being bolted. Mid Tach A Matics are basically a flange bolted to each side of the frame. Plus a 5/8" bar is pretty difficult to shear off. Do D200s have Tach a matics? Thor27 767 #12 Posted October 12 (edited) These are just what I had for pics on my phone. If you need measurements let me know. The rear straps around the axle I cut out of heavy box tube, and welded the nuts to the front so it's easier to mount. You would have to pull tires to get at pins or nuts on otherwise. There is a 5/8 bolt that goes in from the bottom to put tension on that. This kind of shows the front subframe, it's an original wheel horse part.
