Older Onan “B” series?  At least I think so. I’m not up on the old Onan engines.

Saw it on CL with a loader for 2K. Now I can't find it!

If original, would be a Kohler---

K482S-35222B

I'm sure it is original, as it doesn't look messed with. Wish I could find the add.:angry-screaming:

I've got one of those out of a D series. I Googled the K482. Found out it is 18 hp. Had an oil pump, pressure oil system? Are they a durable engine? I was looking at possibly repowering a C-series 8 speed with it. Are they 1 1/8th output shaft?

Probably way too tall to get it under the hood. It is a big engine.

Anything is possible, but you’ll have some modifications to make.

The Kohler K-482 is much bigger and heavier than the KT-17 or M-18 Kohler twins used on the "C" and 400/500 series :wh:

It was a strong heavy industrial grade engine... But parts are rare these days
