kpinnc 12,023 #2 Posted October 2 Older Onan “B” series? At least I think so. I’m not up on the old Onan engines.

1mor Project 78 #7 Posted October 3 I've got one of those out of a D series. I Googled the K482. Found out it is 18 hp. Had an oil pump, pressure oil system? Are they a durable engine? I was looking at possibly repowering a C-series 8 speed with it. Are they 1 1/8th output shaft?

Anything is possible, but you’ll have some modifications to make.

The Kohler K-482 is much bigger and heavier than the KT-17 or M-18 Kohler twins used on the "C" and 400/500 series .
