Sorry if this not correct place. Where dose or what goes in this hole? With open hole to right on the pto top plate. Pictures would be nice if you have them? This is the only pto I have like this.IMG_0020.jpeg.15260e9db09e5f12a4eea50d383d88d5.jpeg

It's in the wrong hole. Notice how the yoke isn't centered with the PTO. I don't see how it could even work that way because there is no camming to pull the yoke tight. It should have a shoulder bolt in the hole where the top of the yoke is now. Take it apart and reassemble like Tonys. No need to pop the retainer off the yoke. Just reposition and install the bolt through the unused hole in the plate.

@Retired Wrencher  might also  be a good time to enhance any relate movement point . rather have a lubricant patina , than rust any day . that PTO  lever start , is a gold mine for related rusty / dragging points . looking right at it , pete
