Neat idea. Can you share more info or links?

WHX?? 49,101 #106 Posted Sunday at 03:38 AM Howd you know I was gonna look in the jungle.?!?! When the power outlet is connected as a outlet the pins are reversed for use with a tender with the same two prong plug that many have. I connected one to tend the battery on the camper. Not thinkin and forgot it was a innie NOT an outie at a show I plugged the 12v camp smoker in ... and promptly burned out the buck & a quarter control module that was not polarity protected. Next show @Achto made me check it first and told me I should have just plugged it in a horse cigar lighter!

The only two prong plugs I've ever seen are squared on a side AND the wire color is visible so they can't be reversed.

Hmmm. The polarity on mine are correct - but that probably explains why they include a crossover with the cable I bought. Problem is, you'd have to remember to use it. I've been told that as I get older, that memory is the second thing to go. I can't remember what the first thing was.

They can't be reversed but you can have the other end connected to the battery reversed. I was wondering what that gizmo was for Nuthin. I thought it was to connect two extensions together. I would ring that out before I used it to reverse polarity. Never have to I would have it long lost or forgot where i put it when I needed it...
