Milosz 3 #1 Posted September 29 Hello I have owned a 706 for some time now. Unfortunately, I only have a trailer for it and no tools are available for purchase in my area. I would like to make a snow plow myself based on the original. I found a photo on the internet but I have a request. Could someone who has one measure the frame elements exactly? Greetings from Poland!
ri702bill 8,387 #2 Posted September 29 Milosz - Welcome. That is a VERY ambitious project. You also need the rear axle quick mount. And - the angling lever & rod are not shown - you need them too. A suggestion - are you better off modifying a different brand, but similar size plow to fit your needs??? Perhaps @gwest_ca can supply documentation.

Perhaps @gwest_ca can supply documentation. I have already found the rear axle dimensions on the forum and I will make one without any problems. I already have an idea and material for the plow. But I still need frame dimensions to make the task easier and not do it haphazardly. Angle change levers won't be a problem

peter lena 8,656 #6 Posted September 29 @Milosz done a couple of those , the STEERING QUADRANT area ,front end of frame pull lever activated is critical for blade swing ease . like a red grease in movement points , that lever spring pull , should slide like a rifle bolt . done this on my set ups , also oil soak the front of the blade , for snow release , stop rust , build it while its hanging on the tractor , use a roller stool to get a FUNCTIONAL LOOK at how its working . let someone else move the plow to show you , what needs improvement . works with total ease , pete
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,072 #7 Posted September 29 The blade at the time was this model Even the last blades in 2001 were made to fit the early short frame tractors by moving the rear cross bar.
