Rookie vs. Wheel Horse

"One bolt" today, the last coat (I think!) on the first two frame pieces.  I've been mentally going back and forth on whether I should coat the sides that are exposed to the ground with bed coating/liner spray... it seems logical, although it's not how they rolled out of the factory... more pondering to do.

We've painted/restored 5 here. All were painted matching color on the bottom.  No issues so far.

I haven't given up on my attempt to save my poor, old A-100, but between volunteering and winter weather rolling in I haven't been able to make much progress as of late.  The "one bolt" yesterday was getting an initial coat of white on the rear wheels.  There's a fair bit of pitting, I'll have to figure out if that's patch-worthy or just let it be part of the tractor's new identity.  In all of this my Coleman tent partially collapsed due to heavy rain, I might need to put the restoration on hold in order to get a more permanent shed and workspace built... a decision for tomorrow.

Imperfections like those pits give a restoration character in my opinion.  Weather will probably be working against you till April.
