Shuboxlover 478 #1 Posted September 25 Is there enough info in these pictures to tell what model tractor this is? There is no belt guard and I don't think the shroud for the engine is original. Thanks in advance, Tyson
ri702bill 8,323 #2 Posted September 25 It is a 1962 model....the on-off toggle switch, straight shift lever, and lack?? of a keyswitch says it started out as a 502.....
953 nut 55,243 #3 Posted September 25 With the battery location I was thinking 552.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,045 #4 Posted September 25 Could it be a 702?
ri702bill 8,323 #5 Posted September 25 (edited) Not a 702 - look at the serial number tag.... lools like a thumbprint in the middle - that is the unused hole for 1 of the electric start switches. This one was a magneto ignition. The 702 has the tag moved down below that switch.... Battery holder..... came welded in on 502, 552, and 702. I actually have the sheetmetal open-top box from my 502 that took the place of the battery... Edited September 25 by ri702bill
