I'm axle bracket heavy if you need one. Most are off round hoods tho not sure if the same for use on bigger tractors. The 856 I just took in has one that will come off and not get used.

@fourwheelhorseman  referring to that single stage blower , notice the 2 pulley idler set up ? that frame is steel on steel , rarely lubricated , so it does not easily follow belt drag , also those 2 pulleys are rarely if ever  re lubricated , so they spin easily , combine that with a chain / cable lubricant for the auger drive chain , and it moves much easier . often refer to detail functioning on horses , the difference is amazing  !  blower I  sold to a guy moved by hand , emphasized how it worked , probably been sitting outside in tall grass , forgotten , pete

@fourwheelhorseman

What tractor are you installing the tiller on?

@Handy Don  and I were typing back and forth about this recently.

Those early axle brackets have the rod notches in the front of the axle.   The later ones have the notch below the axle.   I'm not sure, but I doubt if a tiller would work with the early brackets. Seems the axle would interfere with the tiller mounting frame.    If it did fit, it would move the tiller about 3 inches forward.

I beg to differ, in bracket usability.  I recently set up my old tiller for my brother in law on an old @roadapples Raider, and also purchased and delivered another tiller setup to Grey and Katherine, @Wheel Horse 3D.  Both those brackets were different than all my other plow brackets.  What is correct?  I am not positive.

Also, @fourwheelhorseman, while we traveled south we stayed at the very high quality Red Roof Inn in Wapokaneta!

Got any pics Kev?

Here is a newer bracket on my 312 where the notches are below the axle.

And the older design where the notches were in front of the axle.    Seems the tiller bars would interfere with the axle and/or the axle bracket spacer bar.

BTW, I believe Jay's old Raider lived in my barn before I dropped it off at Jays barn. :thumbs:

I’m not far from wapakoneta, but I’ve never seen the red roof in, I’ll have to look the next time I go through there. You were within 20 miles of me though!
