@mrc  belt wear is usually related to pulley lubrication failure , while in the related areas . verify  pully  smooth easy function , another spot  to  look at is the deck belt tension spring , is it in a constant violent buzzing state ? if so , your spindle bearings , idler pulley , is showing you the way of cause . typically there are 12 related bearings in the PTO / DECK  set up , if there is a bearing acting up , typically lubrication failure  or lack of , there will be a rough / noisy , whyining  spot , that is telling what's going on . easiest first test is , pto to mule drive down angle belt , can you move / rotate the belt to deck easily ?   collective  pulley drag , will quickly eat up a belt . also deck itself spindle belt will  show , belt wear  from  bearing hang up . just some insight to regular issue , pete

thank you 953 nut.  using the chart you provided i did some research.  using the belt part numbers i was able to get belt dimensions.  this way i can obtain belts at my local auto parts store only 1 mile from my home.  THANK YOU!

@mrc years ago found  correct lubrication lacking in  just about all  pulley areas , heat / stress is what  kills any generic lubrication . sealed bearings are the worst / ironically  the best / easiest  to CLEAN OUT AND RE GREASE . always buy a bearing  with wide side grease shields , clean out , lucas 550 degree , polyurea grease , is bombproof , makes your PTO belt driven set up , move with quiet ease . my deck engagement is no screaming  belt / clutch  connection , because  every related bearing has been upgraded in lubricant detailing / function . even upgraded the pto lever set up , that was a  very loose  mess .  one you do this , the  running / movement ease is amazing , and it stands up , was personally fed up with consistent issues , went after EVERY RELATED MOVEMENT POINT , problems stopped , duplicate set up on my 3 horses , you have to change the failure , pete
