waylin rayls 5 #1 Posted September 16, 2024 hey so imm new but ive got this 1969 charger 10 with a snow plow has the originall motor on it still and original carb but you know it kept blowing heads like lets say every 3 months and it was a great tractor other than that no troubles other than that but then one day i was haulin a lot of logs with it probably had 3,000 pounds on the trailer and i did good the gob done and i started heading to the shop and it started ticking and nocking and my dumb self thought oh well its the heads so i replaced the heads had to put a helicore in it cause i accidentily stripped the heads and it wouldnt start and that wasnt normal it always fired up within 3 seconds even when it was -6 outside so i tried startin fluid and it fired right up then shut right off so i checked fuil puum and it was fine anc=d checked all the other stuff fuel lines and filter thenn i bought a new carburaters but none of them fit so can yall help me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,137 #3 Posted September 16, 2024 You have the Tecumseh engine? Sounds like it is not getting fuel. Have you taken the bowl off the carburetor to see what is inside?
