Massey Ferguson Executive 7E

Recommended Posts

so ive never been into Massey's or I have now yet. I know of a few models, so this is a Kohler that was converted to diesel, that looks like a spark plug or is it. and how did Kohler get so high compression in one of those or am I miss understanding something. I probably sound like a idiot but just sounds neat.

Not a diesel, just a sticker added by a previous owner for fun. Just a plain jane 7hp kohler.

Congratulations

Finding a Massey Executive with a right side belt guard is like hitting one out of the park.

Finding one with a factory 3 point hitch and Massey Implements is  A Grand Slam. ................Go buy a Loto ticket!

Here's some files to get you started.

Here's mine, still waiting restoration

It has the seat frame for the deluxe seat.

it also had one size larger front rims, but one of mine was totally rusted out.

Mine has a home built 3 point

The PO stuck a Tecumseh in it, but I have the original Kohler engine.

Thanks so much for all that! Mine does not have the parking brake either. Was that standard or an option?

Looks a lot like a Porter Cable of the same era.

That is a cool little machine! Never seen on like it and I'm looking forward to the restoration.

I also like the diamond tread rear tires. Do you know what size and make they are?

Might be interesting tires for an idea I have floating around in my head.

They are 6-12 tires and very hard to find in good condition

Massey Ferguson, Lawn Master, Moto Mower & that area of Porter Cable were made by Dura Corp.

This one is definitely gonna get restored though!

Might I be so bold as to suggest a mechanical only resto?

Bet Massey Jason would like that one  @Achto.

You could be lol The more I look at it the more I may do that. The 3 point hitch will be painted at least though. It was laying on the dirt floor of the shed so it's just about all rust at this point.
