Mike'sHorseBarn 3,014 #1 Posted September 15 I couldn't say no to this one. A gemtleman asked me at a show last week if I wanted a yellow massey ferguson and I knew immediately what he was talking about. So I dropped by today and made a deal! Came with a 3pt hitch and attachments! I have no idea how the 3pt hitch goes together so I'll have to figure that out. This one is definitely gonna get restored though! It's sat for a looooong time however, bit the engine is free. And to get in a horse, I took the c-161 along to drag it on the trailer lol 7
Keaton 451 #2 Posted September 15 so ive never been into Massey's or I have now yet. I know of a few models, so this is a Kohler that was converted to diesel, that looks like a spark plug or is it. and how did Kohler get so high compression in one of those or am I miss understanding something. I probably sound like a idiot but just sounds neat.
Mike'sHorseBarn 3,014 #3 Posted September 15 Not a diesel, just a sticker added by a previous owner for fun. Just a plain jane 7hp kohler. 4
oliver2-44 9,847 #4 Posted September 15 Congratulations Finding a Massey Executive with a right side belt guard is like hitting one out of the park. Finding one with a factory 3 point hitch and Massey Implements is A Grand Slam. ................Go buy a Loto ticket! Here's some files to get you started. Massey-Ferguson-LG-Serials.ods 18453-MF8E owners manual.pdf Here's mine, still waiting restoration It has the seat frame for the deluxe seat. it also had one size larger front rims, but one of mine was totally rusted out. Mine has a home built 3 point The PO stuck a Tecumseh in it, but I have the original Kohler engine. Does your have the "Parking Brake" shown in this picture? Mine doesn't 2
Mike'sHorseBarn 3,014 #5 Posted September 15 Thanks so much for all that! Mine does not have the parking brake either. Was that standard or an option?

I also like the diamond tread rear tires. Do you know what size and make they are? Might be interesting tires for an idea I have floating around in my head.

The 3 point hitch will be painted at least though. It was laying on the dirt floor of the shed so it's just about all rust at this point.
