Cjwv1975 64 #1 Posted September 14 Looking at a 1054. Body looks solid and all parts look to be there. Doesnt run but engine is free and comes with snow plow and chains. Asking 300 and for another 150 a one bottom plow. Sound fair?

oliver2-44 9,743 #6 Posted September 14 Looks like the right side belt guard and left side cover are made of tread plate. That's not original, but looks like it works

The belt sider cover on a 953/1054 has no lower belt guide, that is done by a piece of angle iron bolted to the engine and rear of the frame.. 2

He said its been garage keep the whole time he's own it. I am going to buy it next wk hopefully. Been looking for a 1054 and this should be a nice winter project 1

Cjwv1975 64 #16 Posted September 23 Picked up the 1054 yesterday. All body there except clutch side panel and front/rear lense covers. Gentleman said he had it running 5yrs ago but he hasnt messed with it since but has been stored in shed until 3wks ago. Hydraulics worked at that time also. Think i am going to leave as it is paint wise, clean rims up, get new front tires and get seat redone. 4
WHX?? 48,815 #17 Posted September 24 Looks rough but savable. The front lens are available from WH Parts n more... rear is unobtainium. Did you get the plow? They were made just for a 953/1054 and are somewhat rare and somewhat $$ IF you can find one.
Cjwv1975 64 #18 Posted September 24 Body is solid with no rot. I got push plow with it. He had a one bottom plow but his friend wanted it. 2
Lane Ranger 10,968 #19 Posted September 24 (edited) Save it! They are great Wheel Horse tractors! They helped revolutionize mowing and yard work. First 48 inch mower deck, 54 inch snowplow.dozer blade and they could not make enough of them! Edited September 25 by Lane Ranger 1
