Dawgman 5 #1 Posted September 12 Hello! I just purchased a 2004 315-8 about three weeks ago and absolutely love it. However, I noticed the rear wheels are not original. The wheels on it now are wider wheels and the tires installed are 23x10.5x12. I want to go back with the original style wheels and 23x9.5x12 tires. I searched Toro's web site and they want $250 plus per wheel! Does anyone one out there have any good sources for wheels? I'm thinking the original wheels were 12x7 or 12x7.5. Any help much appreciated.
cleat 6,098 #2 Posted September 12 I am sure many people would trade your wider wheels and tires for narrower ones. If I were closer I would consider it for sure.
ri702bill 8,387 #3 Posted September 12 Wider tires & rims give the tractor a wider track and is an asset on hilly or rough terrain..... I run C series rear tires & rims on my 854 to give it better stability.
953 nut 55,393 #4 Posted September 12 Not sure where you are located in GA but there may be a member near you who could help you out. Take a look at the Member Map https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/membermap/ If you see a member near you send them a PM to see if they can help you out. You could buy good used rims from A-Z Tractor https://www.a-ztractor.com/ but the shipping would be quite expensive.
