Small wonder tires don't hold air ... nice very wide tires tho may have to find some correct rims & shoe a different horse. Good fender clearance for 25-10-12 tires. Must Have messed up the key way, cut the bore off and drilled and tapped. Either that or he was trying to run a implement off the rear wheel ... Gotta like the cut off teeth to clear the studs... I gave him a new hub but it was 1 1/8" so it would not work. He said he took his old hub to shop class in high school and repaired it. Not that I don't prefer an original but continued erratic problems with the one on this girl spurred me to order one. Bowl gasket leaking and bad inlet leaking. I was out of original rebuild kits so I used the cheap offshore kits which I keep on hand just for the gasket and bowl baffle for those quick bowl cleanings. For those who don't know the inlet needle and seat on these cheapy kits are junk and don't fit. Just round file them. A OEM kit was a week away and I am trying to get this tractor plow day ready. Order the cheapy carb on Saturday (the jungle) and was in my mitts on Sunday. Bolted right up and off and running great. This is at least the third one I put on a small block with no problems whatsoever than having to re-tap the front air cleaner mount threads ... must be metric??? OEM rebuild kit is about $15 these days Cheapy carb was $16 & they throw in a fuel filter, gas cock & hose clamps that don't fit... Kinda of a no brainer?? I’ve used two that I intended to use as temporary. Both are still going strong and it’s been a couple years. Two K321s and a Magnum10 engine used them. The Mag10 developed a bore problem (already bored .030 over) and that tractor was repowered altogether, so the third technically lasted only about 12-18 months. For clarification, I don’t think they are as good as OEM. But since those are not available anymore, I had to make a choice. Makers don’t want to mess with Imperial standard tooling. And as a reminder, the needle valves are also likely metric threaded (they were on the ones I’ve used so no swapping onto “stock” carbs). I also strongly suggest NOT messing with the needle valves AT ALL until trying to run it. The three I’ve used ran well out of the box and needed less than ⅛ turn to be dialed in. If you MUST pull the needles, FIRST turn them all the way in (gently) so you can put it back as it came.
