856 addict 2 #1 Posted September 10 Quick question gentlemen. Is the points plunger on a k181 shorter than on a k301? I’m converting a breakerless 301 to points and I had a plunger out of a 181 I thought I could use but it’s too short. When I looked on isavetractors they just have one size for all k series. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,041 #2 Posted September 11 I think the length is 1-1/2" but could be wrong. There was a fellow that built Kohler engines and had a ton of info on his website.
