cable movement assist

very often refer to choke  / throttle cable binding , picture above is perfect example of , spring leverage advantage to  any cabling . you can't push a cable , but a spring assist , and lubrication will dramatically  assist it . the end mount plate of any intended , movement area  , is a perfect  pull it closed  assist point . first like a creeping / penetrating lube , 3-1 orange can oil , does a very good job get going at both ends , so the slide wire is sliding in lube . did this initially on a binding cable , experimented with slightly heavier  spring to overpower  , drag  to close position . think about it , every time you want choke or throttle , you have a spring assist helping you !  have this set up on my 3  horses' , always smooth / easy , the pull spring is the tempering of drag function . no rusty , dragging cables for me , pete
