Recommended Posts

fourwheelhorseman

I have a snowcab that I’m trying to I.D. I am currently installing it on my C160, it’s just not fitting right,

03CB01-04047 is the id.

I was told by a fellow member here to mention

@gwest.ca in this post.
thanks in advance!

Cabs can be modified to fit. I had a cab that came off of a 300 series and I used it on a 520 and a C160

Your model number is not complete but likely does not matter.

Click on the fuzzy picture to see what we know about this. In short it fits the 1978-79 and others with the wide hood stand.but should be easily modified for the C-160. A C-160 and C161 are almost identical.

Perhaps the operator manual will help.

If it helps, I believe these were made by the Original Tractor Cab Company.

So I have a 1977 or 1978 cab, with an odd modification on the rear bracket , I should have the bar that runs under the tailight. I can make what I have work, but I’m wondering if I can get that bar, it’s called “H”

Or even the correct rear attaching bracket for the model of the cab that I have would be great too. This is what I have as of now…

I’ve got the cab figured out, I did call the original cab company to request a rear bracket, I got the answering machine so I’m  waiting for them to call me back..

They no longer produce much for Wheel Horse tractors, some accessories will fit.  Good luck and keep us posted, hopefully they will support our old cabs.

I had suspected as much, I’ll let you guys know what they say, I know for sure they’re a great company to deal with, a few years ago they sent me a windshield wiper arm for a cab that I had purchased second hand. They sent without me even paying first, upon receiving it I promptly paid them with a thank you note included. Not too many companies do that anymore.

I have a '75 C160-8 that had a cab many moons age when the PO's dad owned it.

Along the way someone cut it off near the legs after a damage event.

I may have the H feet.....
