Seems common but cant find it.. gear oil leak out of center rear wheel?

I searched the forums for this.. I think it is probably a seal but can anyone tell me what part number to reseal?  This is a 1966 656 ,  Its also leaking on the other side of the wheel...  thanks.

Your horse should have 1" axles in a #5053 Wheel Horse transmission.  The axle seals are WH #100863 they cross to SKF 9815...available at Auto Zone, NAPA and some of our vendors.  :occasion-xmas:

The axle seals for a 1" axle are SKF-9815.

Jack up the rear end and try to move the axle up-down and forward-backward. If the bearings are good there will be no movement. If they move then seals won't fix it.

The GOOD news is that the leak has juiced up the axle to hub joint to make hub removal easier....
