Made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

So I picked this up Tuesday. My plan was to use it at my mother's house this fall as she has a real problem with leaves. Craftsman tow behind lawn and leaf vacuum. PO said it was his father's, who passed away. Sat in shed unused for a few years. One tire flat, wont start. He has had it for sale for some time at 600. I noticed he had changed the ad to read make him an offer. I texted him and was made an offer I couldn't refuse. 125.00 Picked it up. Clean as can be. No rust, not even a scratch on it. Got it to my mother's and within 15 mins it was purring like a kitten. Problem was that the chute would not mesh with the deck on that FREE craftsman rider I had got for her few months back. My nieces and her husband showed up to my mom's and her husband had interest in the vac. Told me he give me 4 tires for my truck for it. Sooooo, next week I will be getting a set of tires for my truck ! I'm happy, he is happy, my mom not so happy . Can't please everyone!

Being a family member you would think he would come back to your Mom's and demonstrate how well it works.

Revisiting as necessary, of course!

An easy fix with a couple tin cans, a hand full of pop rivets , and a roll of duck tape.

My morher has always used the baggers that mount on the back of her Craftsman. They work well for her but fill up quickly. Few years back I got her one of those huge bags that go over where the buckets go but she won't use it. Few months ago I picked up that red Craftsman. Runs and cuts great. Looks horrible and dosnt have a bagger. I will look for a bagger for it. With the two tractors with baggers should make it easier.

“Hello, this is your Mom. Can you come over and empty the bags on both tractors, please?”
