Not a-happinin' with all this EEE Mosquito stuff up here.... closest I got to good Cowboy boots  was a visit with another worker to El Paso to see a "Bootier"  - Tony Lama I recall...

So did you buy some Tony Lamas? I have a pair that I bought in the late '70s, don't were them much anymore but their still in good shape, they have been resoled once.

No, but the guy I worked with wore a pair to work all the time. Seems that as a new customer, before you buy, you get fitted. A cast (mold) of each foot is made and the boots fitted to them. They are kept on file - just call ahead for your next pair.....!!

Yep that's the way I got mine, I was in El Paso for a few days and stopped in, they did the foot cast thing and they shipped my boots several weeks later, I put them on and as they say they "fit like a glove".
