pfrederi 17,774 #1 Posted August 21 Anyone have a good source for bulk Throttle Choke cable? Part of my problem searching maybe one of terminology what do you call the spring with wire running through it stuff. I had to repair the cable on my C-160-8 that I am renovating. The lever mechanism was OK cable material too short. I have a couple others that need new cable. I wound up buying a long choke cable assembly on amazon an cut off the cable I needed. peter lena 8,676 #2 Posted August 21 @pfrederi don,t have a suggestion for cable , but do have a suggestion for lay out and function , like to set up final stage VERTICALLY for excellent lubrication top to bottom effect , also use the numerous small holes in linkage ends , with a small extension spring , pulling on cable assist , like SMALL PREFORETED , metal point added to a screw down point . always step by step for effect , better / worse ? did this on one tractor , quickly added it to the others , very reliable , sooth / easy .3-1 PENETRATING LUBRICANT pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
